Its not the anniversary of the Alpha Phi Omega, but the fratmen who ususally run every month of December did this time for the university's 100th foundation day.

Shortly before 11 this morning about 100 of the Alpha Phi Omega fratmen of the university dashed the short distance beween Vinzon's hall to Palma hall wearing only shirts and masks covering their faces which stopped a few minutes at reporters and photographers for photo ops. The naked run started in 1977 to promote the play " Hubad na Bayani" which is also served as a homage to their frat member who died in frat rumble.

More than a form of protest, the frontal nude running is more like a reminder to the UP students as a selfless offering of the Filipinos to their country. (Well, I could dare this brods that I could do it without the mask, luckily I belong to Lambda chap. But whatever, I may look silly at 44 but I still have the boyish features ;-) - Smiley 83A)
